The City of Gold
— Dubai

Dubai: city lights and desert sights.

The most uniquely designed city I have ever seen that is backed by the Arabian Desert (cue Aladdin’s Arabian Nights music humming in my head as I type this out). Although I did not have a long time to explore here, I was fascinated by the beauty of the city’s architecture and “glam” of the people. The mall itself is the second largest in the world and has a beautiful aquarium residing inside.

Situated strategically near the largest building in the world, the Dubai Mall has a constant bustle of people. Going outside the mall, you get to watch a spectacular fountain show with lights dancing on the Burj Khalifa behind the fountains. Let’s just say it puts the Bellagio fountain show in Las Vegas to shame! The Burj Khalifa literally makes your head arch to look at the top and yes, you can go to the top of it! One can spend an entire day at the Burj Park and the Dubai Mall to fill their time but the Dubai Marina with the most expensive yachts draws its own attention as well…
