The Pearl Island Stingray Encounter is a thrilling and unique experience just a 30 minute boat ride off the coast of Nassau, where you can get up close and personal with friendly stingrays in their natural habitat. During this guided tour, you'll have the chance to interact with these gentle creatures, feeding and swimming with them in crystal-clear waters. The experience offers a great combination of fun and education, as expert guides share fascinating information about the stingrays' behaviors and conservation efforts. When we first got there our guide walked us into 2 feet deep water and we sat down in a circle. He said the stingrays are like dogs, would come over to smell us, get to know us, and they would remember us. The fenced enclosure was about 100’ by 100’ and went to about 10’ deep at the fence. All of these 3-4 foot rays swimming between us and letting us pet them was unforgettable!
